Language learning programs contribute to promoting communication and interaction between nations. In line with the visions and aspirations of the Kurdistan Regional Government to develop language education in the Region to fulfill society’s need for languages, and support the current overall development plan of the nation, the College of Languages was established in 2009. The mission of this academic institution is to develop language education by adopting the latest curricula and academic methods in the field of language teaching, graduating people who are technically, culturally, and intellectually qualified. 
​            ​In addition, the College of Languages strives to enhance academic research and contribute to serving the community by holding training courses and workshops in Kurdish and English.
